Common Questions
Why should I make a Telehealth appointment?
If you are uncomfortable with/unable to come into the office for a visit, we still want to continue your healing process! The key to successful physical therapy is maintaining a consistent treatment schedule, and this is a great tool for accomplishing that.
Is Telehealth as useful as an in-person appointment?
It has been proven that, for many conditions, telehealth can be just as effective as in-person appointments. Therapists are able to provide all the visual and verbal cues patients are used to and provide them with updated exercises.
What about manual therapy?
Our PTs are often able to teach patients via telehealth how they can perform manual therapy on themselves. If this is not an option, they can also teach a loved one how to perform it for you.
Will my insurance cover telehealth appointments?
The short answer: Yes! Every insurance company has made an addendum in response to COVID-19 that covers telehealth appointments. Contact us to find out.
