Ready to listen. Here to help.
Whether you’re hoping to relieve pain, recover, regain movement, or train for an event, we believe that you deserve an experienced, highly skilled, and compassionate physical therapist by your side.
That’s who we are at NC Center for Physical Therapy
If you have any physical goals, complaints, or have been advised to seek physical therapy help by a doctor, personal trainer, friend, or coach, we can help you here at NC Center for Physical Therapy (though in most cases, you don’t need a doctor’s referral to see us!). And please note that if you are a veteran looking for a VA Community Care provider, we are fully certified.
We accept Veterans via the VA Community Care program, retired or working. Many people think physical therapy is only for people who have had surgery or are recovering from a serious injury, however we can help you eliminate that nagging pain that just won’t go away but isn’t bad enough to go see a doctor for. Or that keeps you from being able to exercise or do other things you used to enjoy doing.
If you want to get back to living your life to the fullest, we can help you develop a plan to get there! However, you do have to take the first step and give us a call. We look forward to seeing you! At NCCPT we accept all individuals regardless of race, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation.
Areas of Specialty
Listening
Everything we do begins with listening. It's often overlooked but can't be understated. Medical professionals have many tools of their trade in their bag. Which one they use is determined by how well they understand your situation. Our PT's take great pride in listening, observing, and making adjustments based on your feedback.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is an aspect of the health field that is concerned with maximizing your quality of life and physical well-being. During physical therapy visits, treatments focus on diagnosis and rehabilitation of health conditions, illness and injuries which limit your movement, function, quality of life, and injury prevention in the future.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique used to treat myofascial pain, without opioids. The technique uses a “dry” (non-medicated) filiform needle inserted through the skin into a trigger point to release tension, increase range of motion and promote blood flow to the area to activate your body’s natural ability to heal itself. If we can eliminate the source of your ongoing pain, you may be able to stop taking pain meds that only mask the pain but don’t address the root cause.
Sports Medicine
Being an athlete isn’t about what sport you play, it’s who you are. Our sports medicine program offers a comprehensive, sports specific rehabilitation to get the athlete back to the sport. Regardless of athletic ability or age, physical therapy is beneficial to all athletes.
Vestibular Therapy
Vestibular Therapy is a form of physical therapy to address disorders of the vestibular, or inner ear balance organ. Treatment focuses on alleviating symptoms including dizziness and instability.
Women’s & Pelvic Health
NC Center for Physical Therapy offers comprehensive physical therapy evaluation of the pelvic floor to help determine what is contributing to your pain and/or dysfunction. Pelvic Floor function is key to core stability, bladder health, sexual health, and pre and post natal function.
Fitness & Wellness
Would you love to continue to maximize your quality of life and maintain the progress you’ve made in physical therapy? If so, we have a fantastic wellness program to follow physical therapy treatment. With our fitness and wellness support, we can continue to help you reach and maintain your goals. Our Fit To Live™ program is a revolutionary preventative care offering, and just one great example of how we can help.
